Hallway Procedures:
Walk on right side of hall on the edge of the purple, but not touching the purple. Keeps hands, feet, and other objects to oneself.
Hallways are SILENT. No exceptions.

Bathroom Procedures:
Boys and girls will split into two lines outside of bathrooms.
Line will form on the edge of the purple square where monitor is visible to first person in line.
Wait in line until bathroom monitor signals you to enter the bathroom.
Only three students allowed in bathroom at a time.
Bathroom monitor is responsible for making sure bathroom is clean and all students have returned to class line before joining the class.



Cafeteria Procedures:
Enter the cafeteria silently through interior double doors.
While in lunch line, every student is silent.
Cones go up on each table at the start of lunch to indicate no talking.
Cones stay up for the first 10 minutes of lunch.
Once cones go down, students may talk quietly to students at their table.
Students will throw trash away when the teacher calls their table.
Exit the cafeteria silently through the exterior door.

Classroom Folders:
Folder Organization
Red = Homeroom
Blue = ELA
Green = Math
Yellow = Science/Social Studies
Subject folders will stay in designated classroom.
The Red folder will rotate classes and go home with students at the end of the day.











Pencil Box/Policy:
Pencil Box:
Every student will use a pencil box that will contain their personal school supplies.
The supplies and box will have their class number/teacher letter on it.
Students are responsible for keeping up with boxes (including supplies) and taking them to and from each class.
Each box will include the following:
5 sharpened pencils
Pencil eraser
Glue stick
Highlighter
Expo marker
Whiteboard eraser
Scissors
Crayons or colored pencils
Headphones/Earbuds
Policy:
Each student is responsible for keeping up with their pencil box supplies.
If items run out or break, they should “trade in” items with homeroom teacher during arrival or dismissal.
All supplies will be checked on Friday.
A POSITIVE dojo will be given for students who have kept up with all their supplies for the week. A NEUTRAL will be given if any supplies are missing.
Students will start each week with 5 sharpened pencils.
Pencils will be sharpened on Friday during dismissal.

Chromebooks:
Each student will be assigned a chromebook.
That student will be responsible for their chromebook throughout the school day.
Chromebooks will travel with students to each class.

Makeup Work:
Each student’s makeup work will be placed in their class colored folder (blue, green, yellow).
The student will have the number of days they were absent to complete makeup work.

Homework:
Homework is due on the date assigned by teacher.
Late homework will result in a neutral or negative depending on situation.
All homework is expected to be completed.

Class Dojo:
Behavior will be tracked through classdojo.
Positive dojo points will be given for positive behavior.
Positive dojo points will be rewarded monthly through the PBIS cart. Students will be able to spend dojo points on different items and coupons.
PBIS will host a field trip at the end of the school year for students who have enough dojo points to participate.
Neutral dojo points will be given as warnings/minor behaviors.
Negative dojo points are given for minor/major behaviors.

Behavior:
Behavior will be recorded through dojo and behavior tracking.
Once a student receives 4 steps on the discipline ladder (negative dojo marks) an office referral will be written.
Behavior tracking will reset every 9 weeks.
