Reminders:

1. Check PowerSchool frequently!

2. Set your child's PowerSchool student access on a devise they can access.

3. Lesson Slides are posted in Google Classroom for your child to review, study, and access when absent.

4. Please remind your students to put their name on jackets, water bottles, lunch boxes, etc.

5. Notes and Graphic Organizers should be in your child's binder for studying. Please remember all of our tests are cold-reads. This means they apply the standards we have studies to a passage they have NOT seen before.

iReady

I Ready should be completed weekly for a fluency grade in both ELA and Math. They fluency grade is determined by the student working towards the iReady weekly requirement of 45 minutes on their path in each subject area and at least 1 passed lesson in each subject area.

I ready is a web based program that individualizes instruction for the student based on their specific needs. It can be completed at home or school. We will guarantee the students iReady time from 7-7:45 at least 4 days a week. If students do not have their requirements met by utilizing this time, they will need to complete it on their own time at school or at home.

Because iReady is web based, individualized, on their learning level, and a weekly fluency grade, the students will need to complete the requirements even if they are absent.

iReady Fluency Grade is determined by:

45 minutes of instruction on path and 1 passed lesson =100

45 minutes of instruction on path and NO lessons passed = 50

At least one passed lesson and less than 45 minutes of instruction on path = 50
