Hi, and welcome to Discovery! This is my third year teaching in the Long Beach School District. I’m excited to be here at Harper. I’m a graduate of Mississippi State University (maroon and white is all I know!) I have a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology, and I have teaching endorsements in Gifted Education, Social Studies, and Psychometry.

Our gifted classes are going to have a wonderful experience working on challenging and innovative projects as we work toward our Gifted Education outcome competencies in Thinking Skills, Creativity, Informational Literacy, Success Skills, Affective (social and emotional) Skills, and Communication Skills. Long Beach has one of the best gifted programs in the state, and I am looking forward to the 2018-2019 school year.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading, hanging out in the sunshine, and daydreaming about beaches with pretty water.
